Отряд кораблей Тихоокеанского флота (ТОФ) принимает сегодня участие в российско-американских учениях "Тихоокеанский орел". В учениях принимают участие с российской стороны крейсер "Варяг" и средний морской танкер "Иркут", с американской стороны - ракетные эсминцы "Маккэмбл" и "Фицджеральд".

 

Как сообщили в отделе информационного обеспечения пресс-службы Восточного военного округа, утром началась активная фаза маневров, в программу которых включен ряд различных сценариев, в том числе освобождение судна и экипажа, захваченного условными террористами.

 

По замыслу учений, десантные группы с американского ракетного эсминца должны досмотреть российский танкер "Иркут", а российские моряки в свою очередь высадятся на американский корабль "Фицджеральд", условно захваченный пиратами.
