Ранее "Оружие России" сообщало о том, что, возможно, в 2012 г. офицерам российской армии и военнослужащим-контрактникам придется обеспечивать себя обмундированием за собственные деньги. Слухи о подобных мерах появились в СМИ после того, как президент Росcии Дмитрий Медведев подписал закон о повышении денежного довольствия военнослужащих. В частности, газета "Известия" сообщила, что "в Минобороны посчитали, что "монетизация вещевого довольствия" приведет к серьезной экономии средств, поскольку офицеры, по расчетам командования, станут бережливее и будут покупать только качественную одежду". 

 

Не далее, как вчера, Министерство обороны официально опровергло эти слухи. Военнослужащие-контрактники и офицеры российской армии будут снабжаться форменной одеждой бесплатно, сообщил 8 ноября 2011 г. начальник управления пресс-службы и информации Министерства обороны России полковник Игорь Конашенков.
