Авиапарк ВВС России в 2012 году пополнится 90 новыми и модернизированными самолетами и вертолетами. Об этом, как пишет газета "Красная звезда", заявил представитель управления пресс-службы и информации Министерства обороны России полковник Владимир Дрик. По его словам, речь в первую очередь идет о самолетах фронтовой авиации - МиГ-29, МиГ-31, Су-27, Су-25, Су-24М и Су-34. Кроме того, начнутся поставки новых истребителей Су-35С.

 

В целом, в 2012 году планируется провести модернизацию десяти перехватчиков МиГ-31БМ, на которых планируется обновить бортовое оборудование, что позволит повысить "интеллект" самолета. Военные также намерены получить десять фронтовых бомбардировщиков Су-34; шесть таких самолетов, купленных в рамках гособоронзаказа на 2011 год, в ближайшее время поступят на вооружение Воронежской авиабазы.
