Верхняя палата российского парламента в среду, 28 сентября, единогласно ратифицировала закон регулирующих вопросы юрисдикции сторон в отношении объединенных российских военных баз на территории Республики Абхазия и Республики Южная Осетия.

 

Председатель Комитета СФ по обороне и безопасности Виктор Озеров, представляя документы на ратификацию подчеркнул, что "ратификация соглашений о наших военных базах отвечает долгосрочным интересам Российской Федерации, послужит дальнейшему укреплению военно-политического сотрудничества между Российской Федерацией и Республиками Абхазия и Южная Осетия, и, безусловно, будет способствовать укреплению мира в этом регионе".
