С реформой Вооружённых сил РФ принципиально меняется облик "контрактника". В настоящее время разрабатываются критерии отбора на воинскую службу по контракту.

 

Сейчас точно определено, что эти военнослужащие должны обладать определённым уровнем интеллектуальных способностей, отменным здоровьем, соответствующим физическим развитием.

 

При всём этом, на службу по контракту могут приниматься и женщины, и граждане иностранных государств,- сообщил статс-секретарь Минобороны Николай Панков на конференции в Министерстве обороны.
