Агентство РИА Новости сообщает, что Малайзия задумалась о приобретении партии российских учебно-боевых самолетов Як-130. Об этом на днях заявил министр обороны Малайзии Ахмад Захид Хамиди. "Есть большая вероятность, что мы будем работать с этим самолетом", - говорится в его заявлении. Также он добавил, что на данный момент идут переговоры по согласованию требуемого количества самолетов Як-130.

 

Ранее сообщалось, что Малайзия планирует заключить дополнительный контракт на поставку 18 истребителей Су-30МКМ. Сумма этой сделки оценивалась в 900 млн долларов. Ожидается, что это будут модернизированные Су-30МКМ, оснащенные сверхзвуковыми крылатыми ракетами БраМос российско-индийского производства. По такой же схеме будет произведена модернизация уже находящихся на вооружении ВВС Малайзии 18 Су-30 МКМ.
