Со следующего года радиотехнические войска ВВС РФ будут оснащаться новейшей мобильной радиолокационной станцией (РЛС) "Небо-М".
Многофункциональный радиолокационный комплекс (РЛК) "Небо-М" разработан специалистами ОАО "ФНПЦ "Нижегородский научно-исследовательский институт радиотехники" (ННИИРТ). РЛС предназначена для отслеживания целей на высотах средней и большой дальности.
Как сообщил официальный представитель Министерства обороны РФ полковник Владимир Дрик, Минобороны планирует оснастить российские радиотехнические войска десятками таких станций.
Мобильный РЛК средних и больших высот межвидового применения "Небо-М" способен анализировать информацию о малоразмерных аэродинамических и гиперзвуковых целях при сильных помехах, а затем снабжать ей зенитные ракетные средства ПРО ближнего и среднего рубежей перехвата.
