Почти сто танков Т-90 в бригаде Восточного военного округа (ВВО), заменили на снятые с консервации советские танки Т-72. Теперь танкисты будут вынуждены минимум несколько лет служить на этой технике. Замена боевой техники была произведена по причине небрежной эксплуатации.
Как сообщил представитель Министерства обороны, эти Т-90 были из первой произведенной партии. Их выпустили с завода в середине девяностых годов. В тот период существовали проблемы с запчастями на новую модель танков, и танкистам приходилось разукомплектовывать часть машин для ремонта других, а некоторые дефицитные запчасти просто разворовали.
В итоге одна часть изъятых танков будет направлена на завод для проведения капитального ремонта, вторая – в учебные подразделения.
