17 октября ОАО «ВОЛАТАВТО» отметит свой 20-летний юбилей.Сегодня ОАО «ВОЛАТАВТО» входит в структуру Государственного военно-промышленного комитета Республики Беларусь и является одним из ведущих предприятий оборонного сектора экономики страны.
Как сообщили в Госкомвоенпроме Республики Беларусь, начиная с 2000 года, предприятие изменило профиль своей деятельности и перешло от продажи автомобильной техники к разработке быстроразворачиваемых мобильных платформ на колесных шасси для различных образцов вооружения и военной техники.
Наиболее яркими достижениями ОАО «ВОЛАТАВТО» являются работы по модернизации антенного поста ЗРК «Печора» в части размещения его на автомобильном шасси МЗКТ-80211. Благодаря техническим решениям по автоматизации процессов достигнуто существенное сокращение времени развертывания антенного поста и почти в три раза уменьшилась численность боевого расчета.
Не менее интересна разработка мобильных платформ на колесном шасси для двухкоординатной РЛС метрового диапазона «Восток» и быстроразворачиваемых антенных мачт на колесном шасси для мобильных комплексов связи БАМ-18.
