Армейская авиация ВВС России с начала 2011 года получила более сотни новых вертолетов. Об этом заявил официальный представитель управления пресс-службы и информации Министерства обороны России Владимир Дрик.
В числе поставленной техники - Ми-28Н "Ночной охотник", Ка-52 "Аллигатор", Ми-8АМТШ, Ми-8МТВ5, Ка-226, Ми-26 и "Ансат". Точное соотношение переданной военным техники Дрик не назвал.
Кроме того, Сызранский филиал Военного учебного научного центра ВВС получил многоцелевые адаптивные вертолеты "Ансат-У". С 2012 года на них будет проводиться обучение пилотов.
Помимо поставки новой техники предприятия российского оборонно-промышленного комплекса (ОПК) занимаются ремонтом и модернизацией уже эксплуатируемого ВВС вертолетного парка. С начала 2011 года с ремонтных площадок военным было передано около 70 модернизированных вертолетов.
