Новостной портал Lenta.ru со ссылкой на пресс-релиз Управления военного сотрудничества (DSCA) Пентагона сообщает любопытную новость: Министерство обороны Индонезии разместило в США заказ на поставку 24 восстановленных и модернизированных истребителей F-16 Fighting Falcon Block 25.
Что интересно, США готовы передать истребители бесплатно, однако требуют от Индонезии оплатить работы по ремонту и модернизации F-16. Стоимость работ оценивается в 750 млн долларов. Помимо самих самолетов Индонезии будут поставлены запчасти, а также техническая документация к ним.
