Агентство ИТАР-ТАСС сообщает, что первый китайский авианесущий крейсер, созданный на базе советского авианосца «Варяг» успешно завершил вторую серию ходовых испытаний. Корабль успешно вернулся в порт Далянь, откуда стартовал 12 дней тому назад.
Какие задачи были поставлены перед авианосцем на время проведения испытаний и была ли в них задействована палубная авиация, пока не сообщается. Однако, по официальным данным, полученным от министерства обороны КНР, перед вторым плаванием на корабле были завершены все работы по оснащению и проверке оборудования. Первые испытания крейсера проходили в августе 2011 г. и продолжались пять дней.
