Младший сын Ким Чен Ира Ким Чон Ын объявлен "великим наследником" умершего северокорейского лидера. Об этом 19 декабря сообщает Reuters со ссылкой на Центральное телеграфное агентство Кореи. Как отмечает Reuters, это первый случай упоминания Кима-младшего в сообщении ЦТАК. Ким Чон Ына назвали "преемником революционных идей Чучхе и выдающимся лидером партии, армии и народа".
Впервые о том, что Ким Чон Ын станет преемником Ким Чен Ира, было объявлено в 2009 г., однако долгое время слухи о его назначении не получали официального подтверждения. С тех пор младший сын диктатора вошел в парламент КНДР и в руководство правящей Трудовой партии Кореи. Ему также было присвоено звание генерала северокорейской армии.
