Программу боевой подготовки миротворческие батальоны Оперативной группы российских войск в Приднестровском регионе Республики Молдова выполнили в полном объеме.
В ходе итоговой проверки за 2011 учебный год российские миротворцы показали высокие результаты, добившись наибольших успехов в огневой подготовке.
Сейчас миротворцы занимаются по программе подготовительного периода, который продлится до конца следующего месяца. Новый учебный год в группе российских войск начнется с 1 февраля 2012 года.
Различие в сроках проведения периодов обучения, по сравнению с Сухопутными войсками, связано с особенностями выполняемых «голубыми касками» задач, в том числе с ежегодной ротацией миротворческих батальонов.
