Назначение
Предназначена для ведения действий в составе подразделения, управления боем командиром, связи с другими подразделениями и с вышестоящим звеном управления.
Особенности
Основные тактико-технические характеристики и вооружение такие же, как у БМП-3. Машина оснащена навигационной аппаратурой, двумя радиостанциями, приемником, аппаратурой внутренней связи на семь абонентов, автономным генератором и радиолокационным ответчиком.
