Бронетранспортер ГАЗ 59034 - БТР-80A
В 1994 г. параллельно с производством БТР-80 ОАО "ГАЗ" начало производство его модификации БТР-80А (заводское обозначение ГАЗ-59034 "Буйность").
Бронетранспортер БТР-80A изготовлен на базе БТР-80; предназначен для ведения боевых действий, для преодоления водных преград на плаву, для защиты от внешних воздействующих факторов, а также для ведения стрельбы по воздушным целям.
Основное отличие этой модификации заключается в установке нового, более мощного комплекса вооружения на бронированном лафете, смонтированного на башне кругового вращения.
Вынос вооружения из обитаемых помещений броентранспортёра позволил увеличить объём подбашенного пространства, повысить удобство работы наводчика и, главное, решить проблему шума и загазованности обитаемых помещений во время стрельбы.
Вооружение БТР-80А состит из автоматической 30-мм пушки 2А72 и спаренного с нею 7,62-мм пулемёта ПКТ. Угол горзионтального обстрела этого комплекса составляет 360 градусов, по вертикали обеспечиваются углы от -5 до +70 градусов, что позволяет вести стрельбу не только по наземным, но и по малоскоростным воздушным целям.
Как пушка, так и пулемет имеют ленточное боепитание из магазинов, распложенных в башне. При этом питание пушки двухленточное: одна лента снаряжена выстрелами с осколочно-фугасными и соколочно-трассирующими снарядами, а другая - с бронебойно-трассирующими снарядами.
Переключение питания с одной ленты на другую производится мгновенно, что позволяет оперативно поражать как живую силу, так и бронированные цели и огневые точки противника.
Боекомплект пушки состоит из 300 выстрелов, боекомплект пулемета — 2000 патронов. Управление огнем осуществляется с помощью дневного прицела 1ПЗ-9 и ночного ТПН-3-42, а также смотровых приборов.
Прицельная дальность стрельбы из пушки бронебойно-трассирующими снарядами составляет 2000 м, в темное время суток она снижается до 800 м. Кроме прицелов, в распоряжении наводчика имеется пульт, позволяющий задать темп стрельбы из пушки: одиночный, малый (200 выстрелов в минуту) и большой (не менее 330 выстрелов в минуту).
На рабочем месте наводчика размещены также органы управления механизмами перезаряжания, спуска, предохранителя, переключения питания с одной ленты на другую и смотровыми устройствами.
