Назначение
Предназначен для обеспечения быстрой доставки к месту (пожара) возгорания пожарной бригады и тушения пожара водой и пеной в условиях труднопроходимой местности, в месиах наличия только железнодорожных путей, что особенно актуально в районах Сибири и Дальнего Востока.
Установка тушения
Созданные для реализации данной технологии установки комбинированного тушения «Пурга» обеспечивают тушение пожара на площади 1000 м2 не более чем за 1-2 минуты. Применение этих устройств на серийно выпускаемой технике повышает ее эффективность в 5-10 раз. Напор, развиваемый самым компактным стволом «Пурга-5» при использовании пены, составляет 25 метров, а наиболее мощного образца «Пурга-240» – 100 м. Диапазон производительности – от 21 до 360 тыс. л/мин. Установки комбинированного тушения «Пурга» монтируют на пожарных колесных и гусеничных машинах (мобильные цистерны, коленчатые подъемники, автолестницы), речных и морских судах, стационарных установках.
