Под Санкт-Петербургом со дна Невы подняли тяжёлый танк КВ-1 или "Клим Ворошилов", сообщает vesti.ru. Он затонул во время боёв за Невский пятачок. Танк обнаружили в мае военнослужащие специального поискового батальона. Скорей всего, танкисты смогли выбраться из машины, пока она не ушла под воду.
Операцию по подъёму переносили несколько раз - из-за штормового ветра. Она заняла около 8 часов. Сначала водолазы закрепляли стропы на корпусе, а сапёры МЧС разминировали боезапас. Корпус танка был на две трети занесен илом, и, учитывая вес самой боевой машины (47,5 тонн), чтобы оторвать ее от грунта, потребовалось усилие не менее 60 тонн и применение специальной судоподъемной техники - вытаскивали его плавучим краном. Несмотря на десятилетия под водой, КВ-1 прекрасно сохранился. И после реставрации сможет принимать участие в исторических военных парадах.
