Новые образцы вооружения и военной техники (ВВТ) в российской армии должны составлять не менее 70% уже в 2020 г., считают военные эксперты России. По их оценкам, на модернизацию Вооруженных Сил (ВС) РФ может быть потрачено более 19 трлн руб. Такая цифра была озвучена в ходе круглого стола "Новая государственная программа вооружения и военно-технические приоритеты российской армии", на котором обсуждалось будущее ВС РФ. Итоги круглого стола прокоментировали РИА Новости.
По словам военных экспертов, в течение ближайшего десятилетия в ВВС России будет поставлено:
- более 500 самолетов различных типов
- более 1000 вертолетов различных типов
- более 200 новых систем ПВО, которые войдут в единый комплекс воздушно-космической обороны
- новые истребители пятого поколения
- новые самолеты дальней авиации
