Газета "Известия" со ссылкой на источник в штабе ВМФ России сообщает, что ВМФ России решил больше не заказывать строительство малых десантных кораблей на воздушной подушке проекта 12322 "Зубр". Два корабля проекта 12322 - "Мордовия" и "Евгений Кочешков", стоящие на вооружении Балтийского флота, планируется поддерживать в боевом состоянии, пока они не выработают полностью свой ресурс.
Вместо "Зубров" для флота планируется строить новые катера динамического и нединамического типа поддержания на плаву, которые будут использоваться на различных десантных кораблях, включая вертолетоносцы типа "Мистраль".
