Российская самолетостроительная корпорация (РСК) "МиГ" в 2012г. начнет поставки в Индию корабельных истребителей МиГ-29К/КУБ по контракту, заключенному в марте 2010 г., сообщили РИА Новости в пресс-службе компании. В конце декабря 2012 г. в РСК "МиГ" заявили, что корпорация уже приступила к производству партии корабельных истребителей по второму контракту, заключенному между РФ и Индией.
Стоимость следующего договора на поставку дополнительных 29 истребителей МиГ-29К/КУБ, заключенного в марте 2010 г., - 1,5 млрд долл. Предыдущий контракт на поставку 16 самолетов МиГ-29К был заключен в 2004 г.
По сообщению пресс-службы компании, поставки в Индию 16 МиГ-29К по контракту 2004 г., как и планировалось, завершились в декабре 2011 г.
