Назначение
Транспортeр-тягач предназначен для перевозки личного состава, стрелково-миномeтного вооружения, боеприпасов и других армейских грузов, буксировки специальных прицепов, работы в условиях труднопроходимой местности Крайнего Севера, Сибири и Дальнего Востока, а также в горных районах и пустынной местности. Вместимость машины 10–12 человек в составе: командир машины, механик-водитель, командир отделения и семь-девять мотострелков или десантников.
Особенности
По назначению и расположению механизмов и оборудования машина имеет стальной сварной водоизмещающий корпус с тентовым верхом кузова, содержащий три отделения:
– отделение управления;
– отделение силовой установки;
– десантное отделение.

The vehicle accommodates 10 to 12 persons including the vehicle commander, the driver mechanic, the squad commander and seven to nine motorized-rifle or assault troops. According to application and arrangement of
mechanisms and components, the vehicle has a steel welded displacing armored hull comprising

– it is possible to install one of the advanced engines with a displacement of 3.2 to 4.75 hp, a five-speed gearbox and a final and auxiliary drive assembly with a steering device;
– a suspended idler and asphalt-going grouser shoes can be introduced for improved traveling capabilities;
– use of up-to-date observation devices and weapon systems, and introduction of additional armor protection.
