Как сообщает пресс-служба холдинга, в соответствии с планами реформы 16 августа 2011 г. в рамках "Дня Вертолетов России" на Международном аэрокосмическом салоне МАКС-2011 генеральный директор ОАО "Вертолеты России" Дмитрий Петров объявил о создании в структуре холдинга нового подразделения - ООО "Центр закупок и логистики" (ООО "ЦЗЛ").
1 сентября 2011 г. приказом ОАО "Вертолеты России" ООО "ЦЗЛ" было утверждено в качестве Уполномоченной закупочной организации, которая будет осуществлять функции единого организатора закупок. А 20 сентября руководство "Вертолетов России" и "Центра закупок и логистики" провели первую встречу с крупнейшими поставщиками холдинга, на которой были озвучены новые подходы к организации закупочной деятельности российских вертолетостроителей.
